Zazú is a new hangout in the Zicatela! We loved it so much that we ate there 2x in one weekend. We were traveling with a teenager with severe food allergies and the staff- Gabriela and her sons, went above and beyond to accommodate us. She personally made sure that the food for our teenager did not contain nor came in contact with the multiple allergens. We all devoured the tasty traditional Mexican food the first night. 5/5!! I never leave reviews but this place warranted one. The views are spectacular especially to watch the sunset and the service is like none other I have had in Puerto Escondido. The staff are very attentive and everything from the food (especially the ceviche and guacamole which are very fresh and delicious) to the mixed drinks are delicious. Clean bathrooms. This has to be the worst place I've experienced anywhere in the world. The security at the door was extremely invasive searching everything including putting their hands in my bra. I've never felt so violated. Once you're in there is one single line up at the bar to get drinks with staff that is extremely slow, you spend half hour just waiting in line.
