Brasserie — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

Atmosphere is nice, left without water for 15 mins. Server came by many times and never filled our water. Butter was not tasty. Hollandaise was fully cooked and scrambled on our asparagus. The asparagus was way over cooked. I hate to be so dramatic but this was not good at all. If it wasn’t free I would be more upset. The bisque was thick and gross. I cannot recommend this La Brasserie enough! Truly, an amazing meal. We enjoyed the escargot, the pâté and the lobster bisque for appetizers. For entrees, we had the rib-eye and pork chops. We both thought the pork chops were delicious, and the rib-eye was cooked to perfection. Seriously, like better than the ones we’ve had back home. For dessert, we had the crème brûlée and the flambé…also delicious. Martin, our waiter was so attentive and made it an even better experience. Very happy...

Si podría dejar 0 estrellas lo haría. La 1910 cantina se encuentra dentro del The Five Hotel. Intenté una noche ir a la cantina y a unos de los restaurantes del hotel sin embargo me negaron el acceso ya que no era huésped y no había reservado. He visitado restaurantes/barras dentro de hoteles en muchas partes de Latino America y Europa sin ningún problema y sin reservación. Al llegar a la entrada del hotel el guardia palito me dejó saber que si quería acceder las facilidades tenía que yo misma comunicarme por teléfono con el restaurante y la barra para que “quizás” me dejaran reservar para esa misma noche.
