The platon garnachero is a very good introduce to Mexican culture and their gastronomy! A little bit of everything and a lot of taste on your mouth! The place remind me of those old cantinas from big cities like Mexico City or Guadalajara, even those bar places on Spain. One thing I really like from this place is that they prepare the salsa on your place and you can decide how spicy you wanted. Worth to visit place

Favorite place in Playa del Carmen. It's real, it's warm, it's tasty. I don't speak a word of spanish so I am sure I missed wonders on the menu but what I did eat was wonderful. Washed down by a fantastic selection of tequilas and mezcals. On the day it was full of people watching a football game, giving it somewhat of a 'pub' atmosphere. Wonderful moment - can't wait to go back.

Fui un viernes a las 4 pm y había bastante gente, esperamos un poco para obtener mesa, pero el encargado (supongo) que nos recibió muy amable. Pedí de entrada unas chalupas que no tenían nada de especial. De plato fuerte un molcajete mixto, está bien servido, definitivamente para compartir aún que el mesero me dijo que era individual. En general el lugar está normal, nada especial pero el servicio es muy malo, el mesero que nos tomó la orden parecía que le molestaba que preguntara por los platillos y a la mesera se le olvidaba todo lo que le pedía, tenía que recordarle 2 o 3 veces, se nota que necesita capacitación, me llevo el molcajete y minutos después regresó con otro platillo y me pidió si podía agarrar el chicharrón y el queso de ese otro platillo porque se le había olvidado ponerlo en mi molcajete.. y luego vi que entregó ese platillo a otra mesa…

Fui un viernes a las 4 pm y había bastante gente, esperamos un poco para obtener mesa, pero el encargado (supongo) que nos recibió muy amable. Absolutely delicious authentic Mexican food, far from the crowds of Fifth avenue, great prices, table side home made salsa, great pork and mixed meat dishes. The only thing that I would add to give it a 5 star is if they had an Wnglish menu, I hate having to explain every dish to my non Spanish speaking friends. That being said, you’re in Mexico, use google translate if you must!!! Please visit if you are in town, you will not be...
