Eat Bar — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

Love this restaurant! I live in the neighborhood and feel fortunate to have access to such excellent Mediterranean food.

Clean, delicious, authentic, inexpensive, friendly: those qualities keep me coming back. I always feel so welcome there. The staff is attentive and the chef prepares everything with love. The location is as central as it can get, right by the municipal palace / plaza.

I gorge myself on their flavorful hummus and falafel dishes regularly (so good!!) The baklava and other desserts are the real deal. And everything else they make looks scrumptious too. (I just got really hungry thinking about it, I might have to go get a chicken sandwich or something lol)

chose this place based on the reviews and the appetising menu pictures, it was a very disappointing disgusting experience, very small tiny portions of food, the humus didn’t taste like the real fresh authentic Humus the falafel was disgusting and didn’t cooked properly it was nothing like middle eastern authentic food we left the food untouched after few bites, last but not least they were playing religious Hebrew songs, it was blasting out loud and annoying almost ripped our eardrum we couldn’t even hear our thoughts let alone talking to each others, it’s inappropriate to play those songs while you try to eat in so called restaurant on vacay,...

I recently visited Eat Bar in Playa del Carmen and was thoroughly impressed. The menu features a diverse range of traditional Israeli dishes, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I was particularly impressed by the falafel platter I tried, which was simply delicious. The service was top-notch, with our server being knowledgeable, attentive, and providing excellent recommendations. Portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable given the quality of both the food and service.
