They tell you one price and then change the price on the ticket afterwards. Avoid this place and these deceptive people.

Update: the restaurant has responded claiming that I added all sorts of extra things and wanted a lower price. This is not true. I was clearly told a price for what I ordered, and then ten minutes later when I asked for the bill the price went up. Not only was it different than what I was clearly told minutes earlier, but there was nothing on the menu that I could be shown that justified the altered price I was given. The (manager?) tried to explain that it was a Mexican cultural thing that I was told the wrong price prior to ordering, which is nonsense. I've never had anyone alter the price of something after I ordered it anywhere in Mexico. There are plenty of good places around this area to eat, with a similar menu, and won't alter the price of what you order on the bill. I'd suggest taking your business...

Bien pues aquí te va lo bueno y lo malo para que no te vayas con una mala experiencia de Puebla si eres turista.

El lugar tiene pinta de tradicional, pero se asemeja más a una fondita que a un mesón o restaurante tradicional, la atención es correcta y amable y el lugar se encuentra limpio. Tienen pocos platillos realmente típicos y, los que tienen no son muy buenos, y es que aquí viene el problema del lugar, su comida está bien presentada e incluso algunos platillos se ven hasta bonitos, pero al probarlos están insípidos, mal preparados, se nota demasiado el reuso de aceite y manteca así como de ingredientes refrigerados o de ya varios días, si bien los precios son accesibles, este hecho desgana por completo la relación calidad precio.

Por azares del destino vi que actualmente están contratando personal para cocina y decidí solicitar informes y aquí es donde entendí el meollo del déficit en su calidad de alimentos; y es que los salieron que ofrecen son una auténtica burla, lo que me hace intuir que el personal de cocina o no está capacitado para la correcta preparación de alimentos o sencillamente lo hacen al ahí se va por la paga tan risible.

Como poblano de buen diente te lo digo, seas local o foráneo, no te recomiendo comer aquí, en calles aledañas hay otros restaurantes con precios similares y mejor calidad. Si bien no fue una experiencia del todo desagradable, dudo seriamente volver...

Tasty food, nice atmosphere, friendly stuff and appropriate prices!

We went there with a group of 4 for dinner. Everyone was happy with the food, so we went back for breakfast on the next morning. We were NOT disappointed. Every meal was very tasty - the best breakfast we found on our trip so far (fresh fruits, orange juice, strong coffee [what we needed 🙃] and delicious [!!] frijoles, guacamole and and and ...)
