Vittorio's Zócalo Puebla — Restaurant in Puebla

Dinner time was at 8:30pm, on a Thursday night, no wait. Hostess was quick in seating us. A lounge singer preformed outside on the patio. We needed to talk so sat inside. Waiter Raul under stood some English and was very attentive. My sense is they are accustomed to dealing with many languages or several languages from his initial questioning. Menu has English descriptions. A big plus!

Wife had chicken breast with mole and rice. She is a fan of mole and was very pleased. My dishes were tortilla soup which was good, shared with wife. She approved. Second dish was a small combo pizza. She also approved and she normally doesn't eat pizza. Awesome! Third dish was Fettuccine Alfredo and I requested grill chicken breast added. The chicken didn't seem as if it was breast portion or grilled, but still ok. Won't fault them on that. It's common this addition is not to my high standard with most restaurant s, just a bit light on the Alfredo sauce. Still enjoyable. Deserts of cheese cake with blackberry sauce, and tiramisu ordered to go. They were ok.I'd say this was a good meal and was about $46 US with tip. I'd recommend as the menu has plenty choice's both for adults and kids. Would go again....

2018-01-dd.- Nice and comfortable place. Located in front of the plaza. You can eat in or outside. I liked the Coconut Lemonade (no alcohol) beverage very much. Sometimes is crowded and you have to spend sometime waiting for a table. Their attention is excellent, even though when it's crowded; I had to remind them I had asked something, in addition to what I had at first. I will gladly visit again. 2018-08-13.- I visited this place again, and I loved it again. This time I had "Cappuccino with Bailey's coffee", a delicious and fresh fruits salad which I can't recall its name, and "Mango Panna Cotta" as a dessert. The place is cozy and crowded, a nice place to have a chat while having some pizza, which I haven't tried yet. Personnel are very friendly. This time I was assigned a table indoors, and I noticed the place might not be suited for users with wheel chairs because the access to the restrooms is frankly narrow. Personnel said they don't have nor broadcast...

I have just eaten her4, called Vittorios I thought the best thing to order would be a lasagne, precooked cut into pieces & reheated, something an untrained cook should be able to do, I received exactly this a cube of reheated lasagne, but the chef failed it was stone cold in the middle, I politely asked one of the nine staff that had there 7 customers completely surrounded if he could heat it up as it was cold, 3 minutes later returned with the same plate that was scalding hot around the rim, but sadly the lasagne was still stone cold in the centre, for this to happen twice means the chef just does not care about his food or his customers, as a chef I have seen this far to often, I ordered something so easy at service I would have given to a trainee to do. I ended up leaving half of my meal which was greeted by a shrug, I paid in full and left, they even gave me a service charge. Just don’t eat here there are much better...
