Mangata — Restaurant in Puerto Morelos

Absolutely loved everything about this restaurant, so much so that we basically ate here for breakfast every day for 2 weeks! Every dish we ordered was beyond tasty and pure perfection! All of the juices we tried and the smoothies were incredible. For me, not being able to eat gluten or dairy, this place was a gem! Soy milk for my lattes and fresh baked gluten-free bread that actually tasted delicious! The service was OUTSTANDING! Always fast, always friendly and very helpful! We were there so much that it began to feel like a home away from home. I definitely need to shout out Aurora, who went above and beyond for us and always remembered our orders and my allergies. Always smiling and always efficient! Thank you to the entire staff, the front of the house and the kitchen! You guys were all AMAZING! Definitely the best restaurant in Puerto Morelos! There is something for everyone at Mangata! This place makes my favorite breakfast in town (pan francés vegano). The service is excellent, they really take great care of you, AND they deliver! Seriously the best breakfast restaurant on the Port Side that delivers to the Colonias. Coffee and juices are good too! They have vegan and non-vegan options, as well as keto and gluten free. Everyone in your group can eat good and be happy here, regardless of their dietary choices. My best friend and I always get the vegan brownies — we both agree that they’re the best in town, and she’s not even vegan. Anyhow Mangata is fantastic; great for a relaxing meal downtown or a lazy day...

Perfecta! 200 points out of 💯! We are in town for a month and this is the restaurant that we went to the most, probably ~10 times. They have amazing juices(personal favorite is punch radiate and eco green), extremely tasty breakfast options (egg Benedict, Punta bravo eggs), some combos that are very affordable (ham and cheese croissant and americano for 95 peso), and outstanding sandwiches (flower with gorgeous roast beef). The croissants are warm and flaky. They have good WiFi, and bigger tables to accommodate bigger groups.
