I have an expensive tale to share....We went for lunch on a beautiful day. The wind was just right, with a slight fresh breeze on the patio. We were leaving for Canada late afternoon so we stopped here for lunch. I ordered beer & the lobster which was charged per gram. They told me that they had a lobster which was so many grams, so quick math indicated it would be $60usd. It was our last meal in Mexico, so I thought "let's splurge". Imagine my surprise when a small lobster tail came out on a plate with a small serving of rice and veggies. Yikes! 😬. How many grams? What the heck?Totally not worth 60 usd!!! Man, my Spanish is bad! This little tail? What? I ate it...I mean, can't send it back. I felt pretty silly - a waste of money. Don't get me wrong - the 3 bites were delicious 🤤 haha. Yeah, I feel like a fool. Nice view. Decent service. But don't buy the lobster! There is no 🦞. Just a lonely old tail!

We had a delightful time in this beautiful restaurant. The food was fabulous and the atmosphere was awesome. Right on the ocean cool breeze came right through and kept us comfortable. Lovely kindness from the staff as well as other patrons when a a simple young man came out of the water and stood behind people, looking at what they were eating, waiting for them to be done, so that he can eat the leftovers. The waiters brought him out a few sandwiches, and even offered him many of the drinks on the menu. They showed him so much kindness and grace. It was odd though to have him there, so that’s why I put it down one star because I know that many would be very uncomfortable having him hang around while they ate. I was impressed by the way they cared for him and continued to be very professional. The food was fabulous. I had the seafood, broiled in pineapple.

We were excited to eat here. Place looks great next to the beach, the restaurant was almost empty so our party was easy to handle(18 of us). But the waiter we got on our side was not happy for some reason, he was taking our orders in a rush and he would breath every time we asked something about the menu. After he left I asked to talk to he manager so we could have our waiter replaced. The manager never came but either he gave his table away or they replaced him. It would have been nice to talk to the manager but it's ok.. our food looked good but the flavor was ok we had way better food and cheaper at other places. I guess they charge more because of the location. New server was great and fast so we tipped generously.

Great location. Great view. But very dishonest and inaccurate billing. The food is mediocre at best. I live here and have had issues the last two times I have been here. I will never return. We went fishing and the boat captain suggested we take our catch here to have it prepared. Normally we go to another place, but we decided to listen to the captain. What a mistake. Every other place I have been to charges $70 to $100 pesos to prepare fish you catch and bring in. Pelicanos charges $230 pesos, the same as if you ordered THEIR fish. We questioned the manager on this and she told us that was the price because it takes the same amount of time to prepare. They also charged EVERYONE at our table $230 pesos for preparing the fish, even though 3 of the people ordered a different meal as they do not eat fish. Again, the manager told us that was how they do it. I explained that more than a dozen times it has been different at other restaurants and that the server disclosed none of this up front. (Maybe we should of asked, my fault on that, and had we been told this upfront, we would of left and went elsewhere) After complaining and arguing with the manager, she reluctantly refunded us the money for the three non-fish eaters, but told us that amount would be withheld from the servers pay. Anyway, management was rude, argumentative, and did not care if we left satisfied. There are many, many places in Puerto Morelos that deserve your business. This is not...

My family and I visited this restaurant on December 31st early evening. The waiter took our order and when drinks arrived mine had a bug in it. I mentioned it to the waiter and his response was "oh, it's ONLY an ant". I said oh, only an ant, hmmm, may I have it replaced? He wasn't too happy with that. So I asked him to please bring me a coke instead because I was afraid if he would just take the insect out and bring me back the same drink.

Well as I said he was unhappy after that and the svc was absent, he never checked on us to see if we needed anything else after our food arrived. Someone else tended to us but when it was time for us to pay the bill he showed up-wow. We had 7 ppl total and we are good tippers, well let's just say his tip reflected his attitude. The waiter never thanked my dad for the tip and he didn't even look at us, as if he deserved anything!

I tip based on good svc! Honestly the food wasn't that great, it didn't have great flavor a tad bland.

This was just our...
