Spaghettino — Restaurant in Puerto Morelos

We just moved around the corner and saw this restaurant as a possible go to place. We sat down and got menus. About 10 minutes past before we got the servers eye to get a drink. We were the only people in the place. I like to have a drink while I look at the menu. That wasn't going to happen without asking for it! We decided and again had to get her attention. Our food arrived and was plopped down in front of us. No words spoken. That would have been a good time to say do you need anything else. We asked for the bill and remarked that their FB page said they made thir own bread. She said people usually don't want bread. I said so we have to ask for it. She smiled sheepishly and said I guess I should offered it to you. Not the best service... I'm trying to not to judge the restaurant and not come back...

My wife and I went to Spaghettino's with friends on their recommendation. We sat outside on the patio and shared the bruschetta and a small cheese fondue. The bruschetta was nicely seasoned and served on perfectly toasted bread. The fondue was surprisingly light and just the right size to split between two people for an appetizer.

We tried both the Bolognese and chicken & basil versions of the lasagna. They were both great, but the chicken & basil version was spectacular. There were 12(!!) layers of incredibly thin noodles smothered in sauce. So tasty!

The service was excellent.

As with most places in Puerto Morelos , the wine selection was light, but we enjoyed a bottle of Malbec from Argentina.

I highly recommend Spaghettino's and we will be going back the next...

We came as a family to Spaghettino earlier this week and to say that we were impressed is an understatement. From someone who has visited Italy and frequents many Italian restaurants in the states I can assure anyone looking for delicious and very authentic-tasting Italian food my recommendation to come here. The flatbread pizza was amazing, the lasagna was incredibly soft and tasty, and the spinach and blue cheese ravioli was incredible. Everything from the wine to the pasta dishes was 5/5. I will be frequenting this place during during all future visits as I believe it is definitely...
