A taco shack that stands tall !

King Taco has a simple no frills menu but its simplicity is what makes each bite of their tacos taste that much better!

They have homemade tortillas to start and they complement each taco filling perfectly.

The shrimp tacos are top class here. It was my favorite of the bunch.

We also had empanadas and the cheese empanada with some of the home made salsa to kick up the spice factor really pairs well with the soft delicious melter queso inside.

We washed it down with an ice cold coke but they definitely have beers, wine, and cocktails for all those that want a refreshing drink.

Boris the owner and his staff enjoy their craft and are very hospitable.

This place is amazing. Cool in the shade with fans, even on a hot day. I had the pork tacos and empanadas. The corn tortillas were homemade, thick, fluffy, and fresh. Best I had in 11 days in Mexico. The pork was tender and well seasoned. The empanada was delicious. The portions were big, and the prices were low. Not knowing how big the empanadas were, I was going to order two, but they let me know it would be too much food. (I ordered more to go anyway.) The margaritas were great as well as cheap. I also had a coco frio. Our server was very nice and personable....

As a Mexican who’s used to trying tacos everywhere I go, I can honestly say this family owned taco spot in Puerto Morelos is a must visit. The tacos are absolutely delicious, you can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. The sauces are incredible too, adding even more flavour to an already great meal.The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the whole place has a great, authentic Mexican vibe.
