The service was weird; the waitress left after we ordered one drink (instead of two, let alone food) and put the cutlery on our table by touching the parts of the cutlery you put in your mouth. We also only got one paper for cleaning.
There was live music playing (every Sunday morning), which was horrible. The band was decent, but the room is not made for music, and so the music feels like a bulldozer dropping on top of your head repeatedly. Horrible experience. This applies in a lesser extent to the music that plays normally - please, do not play any music at all, the acoustics of the room only give you a headache, a sore throat, and a sour mood.
There were no oranges nor toronja, and the normal limonada was bland. The limonada Talavera was fine, but not special.
The enmoladas were good enough; the mole sauce was as it should be (and therefore not spicy at all, don't trust the menu), but the onions were raw, hard, and tasteless, and the size of the dish was slightly smaller than normal.
The chilaquiles rojos were bad; the sauce does not fit at all and has a weird aftertaste, it was not a chilaquiles sauce but simply tomato with chili, not made for chilaquiles.
The concha was fine.
A basket of free bolillo (baguette pieces) was given while we were eating. The quality of the bread was good, but the timing was weird.
The toilets are super tiny, you cannot comfortably sit.
We chose not to leave a tip, for the above reasons, upon which the waiter (the third one that served us during this meal) reacted really weirdly and tried to manipulate us into giving a tip.
EDIT: Changed from a three-star review to a one-star review; the initial response to my review was two laughing faces, this was later edited to a response about not being allowed to offer an opinion on Mexican food unless I have firsthand knowledge. This is nonsense; everyone is allowed to review a place, and my girlfriend (who gave the input about e.g the chilaquiles) is from Michoacán, which has one of the best cuisines in Mexico.
Thoroughly unprofessional response to a review, good...
