I had high expectations for Enchanta, especially after seeing the buzz around it on TikTok, but unfortunately, my experience left me somewhat underwhelmed. Despite the anticipation, the restaurant didn’t quite live up to the hype, and I found myself longing for a bit more in terms of both the food and the overall ambiance.
While the concept and design of the restaurant were certainly appealing, I felt that the execution was lacking in some areas. The service was attentive, though not as refined as one might expect from a high-end dining establishment. As for the food, while it was decent, it didn't quite deliver the bold flavors or creative presentation I had anticipated. Some dishes felt familiar, lacking the element of surprise or innovation that would make them stand out in a competitive culinary scene.
That said, I wouldn't completely dismiss Enchanta—it still holds potential, and there may be aspects of the menu I didn’t fully explore. I would encourage others to give it a try, as taste is subjective, and perhaps my experience was an outlier. However, if you're seeking an unforgettable dining experience, there may be other restaurants that offer a more compelling option...
Read moreA bit self absorbed energy from the get go. The combination of flavors were not good. I was waiting for dessert, because how can you mess that up and they manage to serve overcomplicated and poor tasting dessert. That was the theme of the dinner. It felt they were trying too hard and forgot about making the food taste good. My favorite dish was a steak taco that I chose to eat the steak by itself and was good (missing some salt), when I ate it with out the suggested accompanying food / sauce as it made the meat taste mediocre. Dishes were bland or oily. One thing that also irked me it’s t that we paid a ton of money for this all inclusive hotel and they charged us for a wine tasting experience that was similar to the meal. My wife barely drank the wines they brought as they weren’t good. Loud music show right outside also made it hard to have a conversation. Service was good and food wasn’t horrible hence the two stars. For the level expected they should do better. Focus on the taste and drop the mash mellow on the plant at the end. Please get a decent dessert. Maybe Paco needs to check on quality and if all seems good, Michelin should rethink the...
Read moreA fun tasting menu experience! This was our very first eight course tasting menu experience. The servers were kind and explained each dish, but a written explanation would have been even better as it can be difficult to understand exactly what is being spoken. The portion sizes were fine for a tasting menu, but the dishes didn't always hit the mark. I guess that's part of the tasting menu experience. The welcome cocktail had a very interesting flavor, but you can also order any other cocktail you like. Select wines were offered for additional cost, but we don't like many wines, so we didn't take that option. We were actually still hungry after this meal, so we enjoyed another restaurant afterwards, but the experience was one to remember! Normally, there's an evening performance just outside the restaurant but the outdoor venue was rented out for a private party on the night of our dinner so we cannot comment on the performance but we hope to return to view the performance...
