Playa Xcaret Arte — Attraction in Quintana Roo

One of the best all-inclusive hotels I've found. Its a solid jewel from Mexican tourism with it's many restaurants, pools, bars, and amenities. It has an army of workers willing to get you anything in their power to make you happy. They clean up, pick up what you require, guide you, speak several languages, and even tell you jokes and get real with you. The staff is trully amazing. The only down is the business presentation they hook you into. They say its 90 minutes but after being in two of those they keep taking 4hrs to do a business pitch that can be done in 30 minutes. Its very overwhelming and not very transparent with the waterhose method they use to convince you. What a shame that is their pitch when the hotel sells itself with all its wonderful parks and all-fun-inclusive mission. This has the potential to be way more than Disney in many aspects. There's some good snorkeling here. The water was nice, warmer below the surface than at the surface. The water was often too choppy to go in. Between Xcaret Arte and Xcaret Mexico, this is the best place to get into the water.

I believe the sand has been put there by the Xcaret resorts, as all along the coast there it's rocky, and those rocks are below the sand, but somehow there's a sandy beach right along there. I went with a friend and it was absolutely amazing! When they say all-inclusive fun, they mean it. And the food, omg Mercado San Juan for breakfast. It was so good it was the only place we went to more than once. There's also a vegan restaurant. It was undergoing renovation when we were there, but the menu was offered at alternative locations.
