Le Chateau @ The Grand Moon Palace — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

10:19 and I've been here since 8:45 with the absolute worst service in my two weeks in Mexico. I just stood up waiting for someone to acknowledge me. Never happened. I had to go over and try to go my own water and wine. I've been served only two glasses of garbage wine in the I never liked French food but let me tell you Mexican French food is the absolute worst! Second in garbage food only to my lunch I had by the pool here today at carabeno. Who would Buy a vacation club at this "resort"?! The service is terrible, most of the food is terrible, you have to watch the bartenders like a hawk or tip them in advance to get a good drink, you have to walk forever to get to anything, Most of the views absolutely suck and this French restaurant is 200%. Finishing my dinner now as I'm writing this. The oysters were so bad I spit mine out in my cloth napkin before i got sick, my wife's little salad was the wrong one, soup wasn't terrible once somebody finally brought me some salt and the pork was bland. This is one of the best nights we have ever had at the grand, moon palace. We have stayed here four times in the past 6 years.

We went for a lovely evening meal (adults only) at Le Chateau.

The Manager was Estefania, the host was Manuel, the waiter was George and the Chef was Francisco.

The Manager was really nice and funny and helpful and was the only female in sight .... Amazing.

Our host Manuel was super friendly, very welcoming and made us feel so at home.

George our waiter couldn't be more helpful and made sure that we had everything that we needed.

The food was prepared by the chef Francisco and was to die for, literally the best steak ever served. The presentation was marvelous and the taste of the food was perfect and powerful.

My husband was given an origami dragon and tiger and this really made our night.

Also, I am coeliac and the food was all gluten free for both me and my husband.

....I have to admit the La Chateau French restaurant was much better in December 2017 than the soft opening in April last year. Our waiter Daniel was really good, I can easily say he did a very pro job , Jesus the manager was right there just in case, chef Isreal Posa presented himself on our plates - phenomenal experience., sommelier Roberto as always great to talk to. Overall the selection of the drinks, wines ,ports were very good we liked them a lot. My wife and I , we loved the quiet atmosphere and the adult, upscale feeling. I am sending my thank you words to the entire team for such a beautiful evening.
