⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Breakfast at Gondola – Moon Palace Cancun

We were delighted by our breakfast at Gondola. The location feels like a hidden gem in the resort, easy to reach yet calm and relaxing. The décor is elegant and bright in the morning light, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that works beautifully for families.

The breakfast spread was fantastic — from fresh pastries, tropical fruits, and perfectly cooked eggs to hearty hot dishes and vegetarian options. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

Most impressive was the staff. They were exceptionally friendly and attentive, anticipating what we needed before we even asked. Coffee cups were never empty, plates were cleared promptly, and they made us feel genuinely cared for. Customised omlette were served right at the table and were perfect!!!

It’s those little touches — spotless tables, quick service, and kind smiles — that made breakfast feel special. Gondola is a must‑visit for a memorable start to your day at Moon Palace. 💛

We came here both for breakfast and dinner (reservation needed). This place feels a bit upscale compared to the other buffet that is only a few feet away. For breakfast you can order omelet and sunny side eggs. Other than that it’s similar to the Bugambilias buffet with a lot of choices.

Dinner is different. You need a reservation.

There is a pianist who plays live music.

We were welcomed with a basket of bread and olive oil with balsamic vinegar.

Lobster tail ($24) and porterhouse steak require extra cost that can’t be covered by resort credit.

One dish I like is the beef carpaccio. Some restaurants add olive oil but here there is none.

On the menu we have pizza, pasta, penne pasta, grilled salmon, octopus, ossobuco, lobster tail (extra), porterhouse steak (extra) and a few other items like Caesar salad, caprese salad, etc…

For dessert, we have tiramisu (not that great), gelato and a few other items.

We finished with an affogato, tea, etc…

La Gondola is a standout dining experience at Moon Palace Sunrise! The ambiance is elegant yet inviting, making it a perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a special family meal. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive — the staff made sure everything was just right.

The food was absolutely delicious! The pastas were fresh and flavorful, the pizzas had that perfect thin, crispy crust, and the sauces were rich and authentic. We especially loved the lasagna and the tiramisu — both were incredibly satisfying and beautifully presented.
