The staff we had at El Manglar during our stay at Nizuc was excellent! Jorge Baas, Rocio Izquierdo, and Rode Croz were our staff each morning at breakfast. They were very attentive to my wife’s dietary needs (gluten intolerance) and went out of their way to make sure her food was prepared safely. I hope they are there the next time we visit!

Additionally, the Genentech Eduardo Zamudio visited our table multiple times during our stay and even requested gluten free French Toast for my wife. Thank you again Eduardo!

This is a great restaurant with delicious food, plenty of options and outstanding service. Albert, Armando, and Florencia were a great team and provided us with some of the best service we’ve received anywhere, not just at Moon Palace. The whole team of waiters at Mangalar are wonderful and friendly! The croissants are a must try, as well as the made to order omelets, and the tortilla chips with salsa verde and fresh cheese.
