Read moreI rarely post online reviews but I felt compelled to warn others about this place. I ate there yesterday - one burger, one quesadilla and two Pepsis. Upon inspection of my receipt, I noticed that they charged me 220 pesos each for the Pepsis - we each had one 20 ounce fountain drink - no refills. At current exchange rate, that means that they charged me $13 USD for each pepsi, or $26.00 for two of them! According to the menu, a 20 ounce pepsi is supposed to be 100 pesos, which is $6 USD. I hadn't noticed this until I had already paid. The waitress claims that she offered me two Pepsi options - a can or "refill" as she refers to it. It's loud in there and she offered no explanation for what "refill" means. My response was that I wanted the fountain version. She decided on her own to charge me $26 USD for two pepsis. When confronted, she refunded me $16 USD in cash. I suspect that this happens often and people don't notice. Many are about to get on a plane and likely don't pay attention. Management should not allow this kind of behavior from their staff. I thought the food was decent - I've even there on two other occasions - but I won't be eating...
Read moreI am not going to bore you with formalities. This place had incredible portions, great tasting food and excellent service. And, not just on an airport food scale but all around. I have to say their chicken tenders and fried calamari were some of the best I have had, period. They were cooked perfectly, not greasy and the chicken was moist and light even for being fried. Calamari is hard to get just right but they did it. As for the portions, my coworker and I decided to buy the chicken tenders and calamari for the table and they served us a portion that could have served as a meal. We could not even finish our entrees which were the Caribbean salads, which was also good. The ingredients were fresh. I wish I could remember names but the service was excellent. I do not usually ask to speak to the manager but I had to let her know how good of a job they were doing. I told her I would not let go of her fry cook as he makes some banging...
