If I could give ZERO stars I definitely would. I had to think if I was going to post a review or let it go but it needs to be made known that this lady is very unprofessional. We went to the restaurant in hopes of grabbing a bite to eat and a drink as we waited for our plane. When we initially arrived my mom plugged in her phone and the charger station was working. This lady went to the back and flipped the switch to turn off the charger ports so that we wouldnât be able to use the chargers. The customer service was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE & I feel like my family was treated unfair due to the color of our skin. We are fairly quiet and we tip really well so this was very upsetting as we do not bother anyone. We seen all through the restaurant that there were other people not of our color using the charging stations and enjoying their food and drinks. We left and went back to our gate but my boyfriend went to the exact same area at the bar and she turned the charging ports back on. I guess because he was of a lighter complexion it was okay for him to use the charger station. He shortly called my mom to come back to charge her phone and the lady went back to the back and flipped them off again and my boyfriend noticed that his phone that was once charging was no longer charging. He called the lady to the table to address this situation and proceeded to ask for a manager. He had to wait over 10 minutes just to speak to a manager. Instead of addressing the issue their response was you can still come and buy food and drinks if you want. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. This was a birthday trip for my mother and to think that someone would treat her this way is so wrong and it angers me. We are not confrontational people at all, we are not loud and âghettoâ. We were looking to purchase food and to charge up our phones in case of an emergency since we had a small child with us. IF i ever return to Mexico I would steer clear of this place. I am attaching a picture of the woman just incase my people of color have this same issue. It really sucks to know that the color of your skin could get you such treatment. I really should have read the reviews before coming here because there is more 1 star reviews than I could count. RED FLAG. Please see the attached picture of the woman and I will be in touch with your corporate office. Also, please donât wear white socks with black pants and black shoes, especially if you wearing high waters. Have the day you...
Read moreI wish I could give it zero star, but no option. I never felt so truly "scammed" by a restaurant as I did here. Our family of 4 ordered from here while waiting to board our plane. Everything is priced like a 5 star restaurant. After eating, it is seriously overpriced. Each of our entree was over $20 roughly in USD. Total came out to be about $90 USD. Tempura Udon is NOT used with udon noodles. Used cheap ramen noodles. Soup had NO flavor. Yaki Udon had absolutely no flavor. All you taste is soy sauce, which was extremely salty. They couldn't even use teriyaki sauce. Kimchi Ramen was NOT kimchi ramen. Bowl was full of soup with just noodles and few pieces of kimchi, which was not kimchi at all. I honestly don't think they know how to cook. I think they are still in business because it's in an airport food court where people don't come back, but unknowing first time customers eat here because they at least expect basic quality. Little would they know they are about to get scammed. I think they add on gratuity automatically, because how would it come out to be $90 for 4 entrees? No receipt given. The guy just rushed with everything and left after taking our money. Never felt so angry and wronged and literally made us curse after eating because it was so bad. If it wasn't so overpriced, maybe not so angry, but they clearly know what they're doing to customers. You can cook with eyes closed and use your left foot and make better food than that. Didn't try sushi, but most likely they do not use sushi quality fish, which would be dangerous to...
Read moreThis was the only place we could get into and make our flight. No wonder! It is a total rip off. We ask the waiter about the prices and he said they were in paseos but when we looked and converted them it was airport price high but didnât seem too unreasonable. We order 2 sushi rolls (do not order sushi in Mexico) and according to the price conversion they were $14-17 a piece. The sushi at my local grocery store is better. We asked for water and he brought us Evian which we knew would probably be pricey, 3 mojitos and that was it. Our bill came to $146!! We had to get someone else to give us our bill because the waiter totally ignored us after we got our food. When we saw it I said- please tell me this is in paseos because if not we have a problem. We tried arguing but she didnât understand English that well (or so she pretended) and by the time we got our point across she didnât care and we had to run to catch our flight. How does this place get away with this? I want my money back! Food was horrible, service was horrible and we were ripped off! I will tell everyone I know that goes through Cancun airport to avoid this place...
