We been there already 5 times and we love it, the staff are so nice specially Miguel he’s just amazing guy he make you feel welcome all the time. The food came hot all the time how supposed to be in all restaurants business. We ordered the whole fish (red snapper) They brought different fish to the table so that we could choose the one we wanted and with the price depending on the weight of each fish, after choosing they ask you how you want it cooked and with what type of seasoning (they handle several combinations) we chose the one with garlic and white wine… delicious. we always go with our children and friends so we been tried a few things from the menu and everything came good never disappoints… buttery fish filet, skirt steak quesadilla, grilled thin chicken breast slices, hamburger… The only dish that is not good for me is the fish tacos, the fish has a good flavor but the tacos are very plain because they lack their cabbage prepared on top and a chipotle or cilantro dressing or sauce. They bring them only with pico de gallo on the side. I can teach them how to make the cabbage that comes with it and the dressing 😂👍🏻
The owners are around all the time and they are...
Read moreIn case you're like me and trying to figure out if it's a restaurant, a little resort, or somewhere in between - It's a full-service bar and restaurant with a small private beach and service to your own cabana. So you can chill as long as you want with reserved lounge chairs under a cabana, come and go from the water, they'll bring you food and drink (available a la carte or as part of a flat-rate package), and there are beach massages, kayaks, and other add-ons available.
And it was PERFECT for our day in Costa Maya. It was so casual and relaxed, the shrimp ceviche was 10/10, the drinks were great (if you like fruity, try their Bahama Mama - so fresh!) and Luis was an incredible host! It was an $8 taxi ($4/person), less than a 10-minute drive from the port, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to relax, eat and drink well, and support local businesses.
If you like massages, the beach massage from mother/daughter team Veronica and Isabella is...
Read moreNohoche Kay was an absolute gem of a spot during our stop in Costa Maya. The location is fantastic—just a quick 10-minute cab ride from the cruise port, which makes it super easy and convenient to get to.
The beach and water were stunning—clear, calm, and perfect for relaxing or swimming. It’s a great escape from the cruise port chaos; way more chill and peaceful, which is exactly what we were looking for. The vibe was laid-back and welcoming.
We had a group that included my wife, son, parents, sister, and brother-in-law, and it was the perfect spot for all of us to unwind. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed.
The food was delicious and the Mexican beer was ice-cold—what more can you ask for? Overall, it was great value for the price, and I would 100% recommend Nohoche Kay to anyone stopping in Costa Maya. I love Mexico, and this place really captures what...
