The best meal we had on our trip (we also went to zicante, hector's kitchen and tuna blancha). This place is approx 30 min away from punta mita in a cute hippie surf town. The vibe is quiet and relaxed with chickens walking around town. The food here is excellent and is seafood based with meat and vegetarian options. The meal started with an amuse bouche and complimentary toastada with 3 diff sauces. I loved the pickled onion one. We had the suckling pig tlacoyo and it was perfectly cooked with rich flavors. Really loved it. We also tried one of every taco. Each one was thoughtfully plated with different flavor combinations. The standout most unique ones were the soft shell crab and the fish taco. We finished our lunch with the churros. Let me say that I love churros and pretty much order it if I see it on any menu. We have been to Mexico probably 10 times and these are the best churros I've had hands down. They were made of plantain with raw milk ice cream. Not too sweet, just the way I like it. Do not miss. In fact I'll make the drive down just to eat it again Oh and they take credit card!! Prices are super fair for...

Maybe the only restaurant in San Pancho food wise that would be on par with and succeed in a major culinary destination market in the states.
If you are San Pancho put Ikan at the very top of...

We knew there would be a wait since all the tables were full. We happily waited since it was towards the end of the lunch rush. The gentleman let me know it would be about 30 minutes. About 15 minutes later two table cleared due to a large group. He set the table for 6 instead of separating the 2 4 tops. 15 minutes later 2 more tables cleared and they finally sat us. During our seating we ended up being one of the only tables there.
When we were ready to leave we requested the bill. We were over the service and just wanted to leave. We didn’t realize until later that they over charged by 200 pesos. Just beware of the bill here. It’s only 200 pesos but we left a tip which upset...
