If I was dying and could only have one final meal, it would be the bakery at PANIO! SERIOUSLY AMIGOS!

I used to live in San Miguel and would cruise by one of their amazing locations a couple times a week for fresh "Cruffins"! EKKK AND DELISH ......I mean BLACK OUT GOOD! 💥

☀️The owner of PANIO is sensational! I have called on many applications for special requests and they have always come through at a moments notice. The last time I was in town, I requested a dozen lemon filled cruffins and they made them that afternoon...just for us! WOW, what sensational and amazing customer service an old-fashioned courtesy that this place offers. Thank you, thank you thank you!

Many people choose to drink, smoke or gamble ...but....I find myself to be a pastry aficionado. 🥟🥮🍩 AHHHHH! JADORE!!!

What I really love about PANIO besides a location, comfort, vibe, music, people, staff and decoration.... is the artesian craftsmanship that goes into each and every.... Danish, donut, croissant, and all of the other handmade goodies that I can't pronounce! SIGH AND YESSSSS!!!!! PORFA!!!!! ☕️

Just as a whiskey, connoisseur would appreciate a glass of their favorite adult spirit. I greatly appreciate the quality put into each bakery PANIO creates. Simply scrumptious!!!!!🍯

I recommend going early in the morning, but even if you're cruising by mid day, they are always open baking the GOODIES. You can't go wrong with any selection literally, you could close your eyes and select something blindfolded, and it would be simply sublime.🎂NO MAMES GUEY!

Even though I no longer live in San Miguel, (SOB!) I still return several times a year for work. I look forward to stopping by PANIO for my coffee and a delicious much deserved treat. Life is too short not to enjoy yourself and indulge in your favorite things now n then.I CHOOSE PANIO BABY!!!!! WOOOHOOO!

I will never go to Panio again. Over the past couple of months their quality has gone down dramatically. The pastries and cakes have been dried out, which is unacceptable for a bakery where everything should be absolutely fresh and they are charging top dollar. I bought a cake to a dinner with friends and was embarrassed by the quality of the cake I brought, which had apparently been in the case for days. There are always flies on the pastries and the final straw for me was when they wouldn't let me carry my small dog in with me. This was after several months of bringing her in with us. There are much better bakeries in town and at much better rates. Overpriced and stale. Not sure what happened, but definitely not the quality they...

Great if you're craving French laminated doughs (croissants, kouig ammans), sandwiches, quick coffee, or granola. I wouldn't go for the Garibaldi's or brownies however.

I would recommend ordering the baked goods via the Cumpanio restaurant next door, however, as it's the same offerings BUT 1) with more drink and food options (ie order some eggs, juice, and soda water to accompany your baked goods), 2) beautiful, comfy, seating, and 3) fantastic table service.
