I'm leery about writing a review as I am an owner of a famous NY restaurant. We sauntered into Silvyras accidentally one day and I'm elated that we did. The owner and customers were fun and inviting and instantly made us feel at home. Kelly the owner and host set the tone which promptly made my stomach grumble with excitement. I ordered breakfast and it came exactly the way I wanted it. I'm annoyingly picky but this is not a problem here. In most restaurants I like only one or two dishes. Without hesitation I can recommend most breakfasts, the to die for meatloaf, the perfect genuine fried chicken, the non greasy, delicious chicken tenders and the liver and onions, if you like liver. The place should be called Mamas comfort food. Reasonable prices too. 10 out of 10 ⭐️s. Hint for my restaurant. It's in Manhattan founded in 1888 and its slogan is "Send a salami to your boy in the army." My family wishes Silveyras was in NY. If Kelly and her incredible chef and husband Reuben worked in NY I would try to steal them to work in our family restaurant. EAT THERE. you...
Read moreCute restaurant but very disappointing food. They were out of a ton of items. Our meal came missing sides (seasoned corn) but they didn't even acknowledge that it was missing. Limonada taste like kool-aid. I was so hoping for some yummy American style food but it was far from it. I read a lovely review on FB about this place so I was excited about trying it. Since we live in mexico I have been craving that type of food. But I wouldn't waste my time or money!! Staff was extremely rude also when it came to pay we asked if credit was ok and she stated in a rude way if we didn't have enough cash then they would try our credit card. The food looks good online but I guess we came on a day when they didn't serve Ruben, burgers, ect... maybe call ahead and see what they serve for the day. No matter how bad the food and service is we always tip well because we are...
Read moreLove this place. Can’t get enough. Ruben and keli are great host. They make you feel at home. If you happen to be there while Ruben is “testing” something out , look out for extras to taste. We eat there twice a week at least. Food is always good they are open to suggestions and if you tell Ruben what your looking for he’ll even cook off the menu if time allows. The cinnamon roll combo is bomb! The chicken and waffle breakfast sandwich is out of this world and the pulled pork sandwich platter is enough for two days of Eatin’. My last visit Ruben surprised me with a buffalo chicken sandwich ( franks buffalo sauce) with creamy blue cheese dressing and fries tossed with...
