I'm so disappointed, I think was better than Panama, the service use to be very good, I went with my daughter and mother, I thought was going to be crowded because valentine's day, but was quite empty the place well... , the waiter (female) was taking orders and yawning all the time, it was not too late, it was like 7:15 PM... anyway, I order a large "chocolate caliente", she brought me a small one, I thought she was writing down...🤔 the silverware was dirty, It had coffee and they were sticky, i asked to change them, she changed for clean ones but, she put them all together in the edge of the table, like...there you go... and left... I had to give them to my mom and daughter theirs... ( am I the one who is getting the tip?) the orders came and I asked for mustard, she immediately left, so I couldn't ask her for more mayo, so she had to go and back twice, she looks upset... ok, she never came back to ask if we need something else, ok.. we asked her for the ticket, she charges us for a cappuccino, and salad .... seriously??? She never back, again, I had to go to the cashier and tell her all about it... they didn't apologize... they just call the girl, ask her about it... and that's it... well that was my second bad experience, I didn't gave a review last time, I don't think I would go back... SAD! Why don’t restaurants pay their staff? The restaurants in el Dorado are doing amazing business; amazing profits! Terrible experience! Food was awful and when I asked about the IVA charge they got angry. Service was nonexistent and the waitperson pounded the the tip jar in my direction; I decided NO TIP. I have traveled, lived all over Mexico and speak Spanish. Have never seen anything like the assumptions about foreigners as I have experienced here in Mazatlan. Wealthy Snowbirds have absolutely ruined the economy and somehow think paying ridiculous rents and everything else helps. It doesn’t! It simply supports the divisions between rich and poor Mexicans as it replicates the class divisions from further North. Restaurants need to pay their employees instead of making them dependent on a system that exalts wealthy Snowbirds and...

The staff was very friendly and hospitable. They have WiFi and lots of outlets near the tables to plug in your devices so it's a great place to work. They are open early and close late, which was great for me to stay there all day and work.

They have decent coffee and smoothies (a bit sweet for me because they were more creamy and dessert like versus fruity with no sugar added).

Their cakes looked delicious. I had the chocolate cake flan and it was really good! Super moist cake and delicious flan. Not too sweet and a huge portion.

They had healthy meal options like salmon bowls with veggies, but I did not try it....
