I wanted so badly to give this place five stars. The food here was absolutely amazing. The lobster special roll is 100% their greatest roll.

The problem we had was that before we were even done eating, they brought the bill and told us the kitchen closed. This happened early, and even though they said the kitchen was closed they were sitting other people. We were here for a friends bday and wanted to get desert, but the waiter said it wouldn’t be available. So I paid, we continued to eat, and then the table next to us got desert. My gf complained and they said they would bring anything - and very nice about it, but it’s just not something you expect when going to a restaurant like this. This place...

This is a top notch restaurant. The dining area is spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff is very professional and attentive. Our server, Luis was engaging and informative. As guests, we shared appetizers, sashimi and rolls. All were carefully prepared and excellent. Japanese beer and quality sake accompanied our choices. This is a great spot for either a casual visit or a special occasion. We have many favorite places to dine in Mazatlan. This one is a top choice for sure! A stunning decor and expressive fresh creations. The food choices were almost overwhelming but the staff was very good at explaining and recommending dishes. We had an excellent dinner and an experience with new tastes and combinations. Only knock was that the service was slow. Food I can understand but refill drinks took way too long.
