Margarita Mermaids — Restaurant in Sonora

We arrived before sunset for dinner and a view.. fun atmosphere and decorations.. located at the end of the Melacon and you can park at the hotel for free..We absolutely loved the chips and salsa, chips are served warm and the salsa is yummy! Our dinner took over an hour to come out and with kids that doesn’t work well.. The choice of sides are beans or fries but they were out of beans and we got like 6 French fries.. In brief - I received food that looked inedible and was inedible. Others at my table had the same thing - theirs looked good. I tried to grin and bear it but decided I couldn't. I spoke to the server who had to get the owner. She gave me such a hard time...questioning me about the problem and the food (meat). She actually TASTED THE FOOD in front of me and everyone at the table! She couldn't chew it yet she couldn't summon the grace or decency to acknowledge the problem and apologize. Fried chicken was way too Salty the owner came to every table to say hi which was nice. The ranch dressing was gross the waiter took my first empty drink he didnt even ask me if I would like another which thought was very unprofessional i had to holler at him across the small restaurant to get his attention for another drink..we ordered some mariscos cocktail for appetizer it wasnt the best the drinks were expensive and not that strong which surprised me..
