Casa Itali@ — Restaurant in Valladolid

Awesome place. But I believe it maybe permanently closed. And if not would be nice if they hung something on door about what is going on. I live here in valladolid and I have tried to go 4 times in the last 2 weeks. With door closed and no sign on door. Hopefully it is not permanently closed as food here in valladolid gets really old quickly. They(valladolid) got the greasy unhealthy Mayan influenced food down. And restaurant Mayan food is not very good or authentic. But any other flavors here are very lacking.

So I would actually rate food higher. And prices are good. But either they are inconsiderate about posting any info on their door, or they have closed up shop.

Well news about their demise was greatly exaggerated. They are open again. And they do have a sign up about hours. Says they open at 6pm. I would recommend getting there no...

Very cozy place and great service. The woman at the entrance was very kind and assisted us where she could. Food was fast.

Unfortunately not good. Pizza had a thick base which wasn’t fully cooked. Good sauce and cheese. My girlfriend had a fettuccini pasta which was terrible. The table next to us send their lasagne back twice cause is was frozen in the middle. We asked for extra olive oil. Pretty sure it wasn’t olive oil or the cheapest one on the shelves.

Very unfortunate and also the reason why we didn’t leave a tip (staff thought it was necessary to mention that we didn’t tip).

Lots of potential however the kitchen...

Food: very good - pasta super creamy, pizza on rather thick dough Waiter service - nice and polite, would definitely tip (if it haven't been enforced in bill) 🥵 Waitress/owner - awful customer service. When we were charged with changing the ingredients (from mushrooms to rucola), the lady was saying "it's obvious" or very rudely: "so what??".

Be ready to be added additional charges without your knowledge. Definitely not coming back after...
