Tacos La Candelaria — Restaurant in Valladolid

Todo super rico. My family was made to feel welcome as soon as I entered. We visited Tuesday at 4pm, not busy and promptly had our drink orders taken and a fan blowing cool air our way. For three adults we ate comfortably for a good price. The calabacita guisado was tasty and served with rice. I had three tostadas of tinga and they were so fresh and crunchy and amazing. We've been travelling around México for a month and this was probably the best meal we've had. We ordered beef and chicken quesadillas and tostadas, aswell as the pombazo. For dessert, we had the mexican style coffee and the lemon carlota. All the food and drink was fantastic and is cooked from fresh right in front of you. The owners Julian and Jimena were incredibly friendly and have done a great job with the restaurant. This restaurant is such a gem! The atmosphere is perfect - it's super cosy, the music is soulful. The owners were so welcoming, yet professional. The food is to die for! My friend and I went there 2 nights in a row to eat their quesadilla (queso & mushrooms are soooooo good). It's a must visit if you are in Valladolid. (Thank me later).
