La Casa Natural — Restaurant in Valladolid

Accueil vraiment très désagréable. Rien de professionnel. Nous n'avons pas réussi à manger là bas, après deux essais ! La première fois, nous sommes arrivés à 2:30 pm et ils nous ont dit qu'ils ne servaient plus car ils fermaient à 3:00 pm. Et qu'il fallait revenir pour le service du soir après 7:00 pm. Comme le lieu avait l'air sympa, nous sommes revenus vers 7:30 pm et là, l’accueil a été encore pire que le matin, et ils n'ont ont qu'ils ne servaient pas de repas, qu'on pouvait seulement prendre un café. Et quand on leur a dit que les personnes qui étaient là pour le repas de midi nous avaient dit de revenir après 7:00pm pour diner. Ils nous ont qu'ils n'avaient rien à avoir avec cette équipe et ils nous ont presque mis dehors. Quelle déception ! Quasiment tous les restaurants au Mexique sont ouverts en continue, et ne ferment pas. Alors si leur cuisine est bonne ou pas, nous ne le saurons jamais, car pas question de faire une 3ème tentative. Mais si la cuisine est à la hauteur de leur accueil, cela doit être vraiment horrible. Rien n'indique ce genre horaires ni sur Google, ni à l'entrée du restaurant. Recepción muy desagradable. Nada profesional. ¡No pudimos comer allí después de dos intentos! La primera vez llegamos a las 14:30 y nos dijeron que ya no daban servicio porque a las 15:00 iban a cerrar. Y que teniamos que volver para el servicio de la noche después de las 7:00 pm. Como el lugar se veía bien, volvimos alrededor de las 7:30 pm y allí, la recepción fue aún peor que en la mañana, y no servían comidas en las noches, solo podíamos tomar un café. Y cuando les dijimos que las personas que estaban allí a las hora del almuerzo nos habían dicho que volviéramos después de las 7:00 p. m. para cenar. Nos dijeron que no tenían nada que ver con este equipo y casi nos echan. ¡Qué decepción! Casi todos los restaurantes en México están abiertos continuamente y no cierran. Así que si su cocina es buena o no, nunca lo sabremos, porque no se trata de hacer un tercer intento. Pero si la comida está a la altura de su hospitalidad, debe ser realmente horrible. Unfortunately I discovered this place only at the end of my stay in Valladolid - after getting a recommendation about it from a barista at Yogui Arte y Café(another wonderful café!). I got there on my last day in town...after they had closed...but the owner opened up for me and generously described their various coffees for me. I bought a pound to add to my other bags of roasted beans to take home to NY with me and I'm glad I did! The Marago is fantastic! I'm sipping it as I type here in the chilly northland. Review is for breakfast. Breakfast: too pricy for very dry scrambled eggs, no sauce given to add some moisture. Portion size was enough for a starter. Coffee more expensive than in other locations in Valladolid. Service: fast and polite, speaking spanish is recommended.
