Tasty sushi and a local gem tucked away in the center of Valladolid. Cash or back transfer only. I ordered the shrimp yakameshi rice and it was kid approved. Very tasty rice dish. I split one portion between three kids. I ordered salmon sashimi and salmon nigiri (corte grueso) and was very pleased. All the sushi tasted excellent. The sashimi came in a 1 serving size of 4 pieces and I also ordered the tuna (atun) nigiri which was tasty. I would return for more sushi and to try the rest of their menu. My order for takeout was 15 minutes to prep. The order came with lots of eel sauce and a spicy soy sauce, no I'm regular soy sauce, though you may have to ask for that. They take only cash or bank transfer. No card payment. While we waited for our food we sat outside. My stroller could not go inside the restaurant as there was a high step to get in. Only the entrance is...
Read moreAs an English only speaker only, this was a challenge; tables were set up upon arrival (4pm) wobbly tables (had to ask the waiter to adjust it) tables were sticky ( had to ask waiter to clean them) menu was only via qr code (no paper menu) thus Google translate doesn't work) had to ask waitress about every ingredient and this was painstaking ordered food and drinks, drinks arrived 20 minutes after ordering.... (this should be the first thing to arrive) Food arrived within reasonable time frame. tempura batter was overy thick (we go to sushi in North America all the time) -niguiri sushi was ok, fish wasn't quite the freshest) also some of it had a taste of lime as though the preparation table had lime on it before preparing this food. Coudnt try the rolls as the waitress wasn't able to communicate what was in them or provide menu that could...
Read moreBest place to eat asian food! It is super delicious and cheap as well (65 pesos for vegetarian roll, 80 for fried roll with chicken, 80 pesos for a plate of fried noodles). We liked the Sushi so much that we actually ordered take-away twice to have it for lunch the day after. Cons: The seating isn't nice, take-away works great tho. The udon noodles are more like regular noodles (fettucini), but very delicious with lots of fresh veggies. The soy sauce is unfortunately disgusting, they serve the famous "kikkoman soy sauce" but will add either honey or lime to the bottle. This is probably "mexicanized" but after we knew we brought our own regular soy sauce.
All in all would definitely recommend! Great and...
