We came to have dinner on a Tuesday evening. The place was not crowded, even empty. The interior is nice - high ceiling, wooden furniture, minimalistic but stylish decoration. The toilet is clean and spacious. The place has also a garden.
We ordered a medium-sized mix of Yucatán food, because we wanted to try different dishes, and piña Chaya drink. The food arrived shortly.
The selection of food was nice and large. We did not manage to finish everything (although we were two hungry persons). We liked fried chicken the most - the meat was soft, tender, juicy. The drink was also great, we finished the entire volume which was at least 1 liter :)) we paid around 450 pesos for everything.
In general I liked this place and the food. Some minor problems were that we did not get any sauces or lemon, we had to ask for the latter; also the waiters were perhaps not in their best mood, for example they could tell us what food is what on the tray - we had to ask this ourselves.
Overall tasty food and...
The food was BAD but the service was EVEN WORST. They took hours to serve us. There were 4 waiters, three at the bar and one hiding in the back, all on the phone. They did not take our order, I asked the receptionist for help and she answered: "I am not a waitress, tell him". She pointed me to another waiter who also ignored me. We had to get up to ask for sauce, salt, etc. and go to look to see where the waiter was with his cell phone chatting. And every time we asked for something, the receptionist stood in front of us looking at us with a sour face as if we were affecting her.
I have NEVER in Yucatan received such bad service as at Sazón de Valladolid. I DON'T RECOMMEND IT, DON'T GO IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE A BAD EXPERIENCE.

Well if you forget about the 45 minutes of waiting and the awful coctails, you are goi g to be surprised how bad the food is. The panuchos were so fatty and dry at the same time that my friend couldnt eat them, meanwhile i was trying to forget about the fact that i ordered enchiladas and remebered the taste of good mexican food while chewing down that plate of mushed papertowels. Overall really bad but at least the waiters were unfriendly and slow. Please dont go here take your money and save it (or donate or throw away all of that is better and yojr stomach is goong...
