I visited this place with some friends. When we asked for the wine menu, the waiter replied that all the wines were on the shelf and we could choose from there. So, we had to get up from the table, go to the shelf with the wines, and pick something. An interesting approach... When we received the bill, we had another "surprise". We found a line item called "cork fee." I asked the waiter to confirm that he understood what the "cork fee" surcharge meant, and I even provided an online explanation. He replied that at their restaurant, the wine has no commercial markup and is sold at retail price, and the "cork fee" is their commercial markup for wine. It wouldn't have been a problem if this had been mentioned in the menu along with the wine prices, but it wasn’t mentioned anywhere. So, you go to the restaurant, open the menu, do some calculations to figure out how much your meal will cost, and at the end, you get a surprise "on the house." This doesn’t seem normal to me. Another issue I had was the gathering of chairs and tables while the closing time hadn't yet arrived and there were still customers in the restaurant. When we asked them to do this after we left, they explained that a cleaning company was coming in the morning, and they wanted to prepare everything earlier. If they moved the tables and chairs in the morning, it would disturb the residents of the building where the restaurant is located. Does the noise bother the visitors? Well, they should go...
Read moreAppropriate music (it's Italian) , good choices in the menu however I would add some typical Italian's breakfast and other delicious dishes I had in Italy. Amazing atmosphere, staff is nice and helpful, very anticipating in my case though they need just a little more professionalism when they think no-one is watching 😇🙏🏻. Prices are very expensive not really matching quality, carbonara and other dishes could get a bit cheaper to beat other options in town. They also charge 10 lei for about 3 spoons of chilli oil if you gonna ask it for your pizza. Best pizza in town by cooking method however it was a bit row and chewy, dough felt/was sticky in the middle. I'm not a 5star Italian chef and I could be wrong but from my experience in Italy, shouldn't be like that. Anyway I would strictly recommend only this place in town for the closest authentic pizza before or after "Sisters" restaurant. Designul la plates e super însă se poate ceva contrast cu...
Read moreThe food was okey, nothing special or great. The Pork Ribs tasted bland, the fries where nice, but definitely not enough sauce for such a big dish. My friend ordered a baked salmon, it was also bland, almost tasteless.
The drinks like lemonade where expensive for the amount served and didn't taste anything special to justify the price. The only thing I really enjoyed was the Tiramisu cake and the Pizza.
The server allowed people to smoke at the other tables at the terrace, this is actually prohibited and this ruined the atmosphere of the evening for me.
It was my first time here, maybe we where just unlucky with the food that was served...
