El Paso — Restaurant in Centru Sector

Firs of all, i gotta say this place exceeded my expectations. This place just straight out obliterated them.

This is one of the best restaurants i’ve been to in Chisinau. The food is just fantastic, a little bit greasy (not more than a pepperoni pizza from andys tho) but amazing nonetheless. If you go there you definitely gotta order some quesadillas and tacos. Their chilli con carne is too good not to give a mention. The food is pretty spicy though so you better get something to drink too.

Their mexican coffee is very good and I’ll give them some kudos for high quality ingredients used, especially for that kahlua coffee liqueur.

Also, I highly recommend you make some room for dessert, especially for fried icecream with honey/chocolate on top. You’ll hit the jackpot with that one tell you that.

The restaurant also features a terrace and would be a spot on place for a cool date, especially when it rains, it’s another kind of vibe. Due to its awesomeness, the outside tables on the terrace are in high demand and are usually booked. It would be a smart move to call and book 1-2 days prior to make sure you can secure a table.

The resturant resembles an authentic mexican vibe or at least that’s as close as you’ll get to that in Chisinau, believe me, its worth every leu.

Even the bill at the end is handed to you in a mexican style wooden box, it kind of reminded me of the Hawaii and the Moana movie.

There’s plenty of room for parking as the street the restaurant is located on is a secondary one and not too many cars are parked there so you’ll be safe.

The prices are pretty decent, a serving of tacos costs about the same as a pizza (90 mdl) but the Value for money and enjoyment per leu spent is way higher with this one than a pizza. And if you ever decide to have a pizza, please do me a favor and go for a good italian restaurant or take away such as Casa della Pizza, but that we’ll leave for another review:)

The staff is very polite and chill, which i really like. They also give you a small serving of nachos with salsa on the house while you’re waiting for your long awaited quesadillas. Nice experience all in all.

I give this place a 5/5⭐️, no doubts. Now go and enjoy some tacos my friends, cause you deserve it!

We loved the place from the first view! The place looks like it is in Texas! 🏜️😍❤️ Now the food and serving deserve 12 out of 10 points! The waiters (all of them, because we went everyday for almost a week) were always attentive and nice! The food was always fresh, very good and very very tasty, nicely flavoured and big portions. We ordered the beans and turkey soup, chicken barbecue❤️, chicken fingers ❤️, beef stake😍❤️ and the cherry on top was the rib mix plate❤️😍(beef🐮, pork🐷 and sheep 🐑) so tasty and well done! Я с женой по приглашению друзей зашли в ресторан El Paso , по адресу Strada Armenească 10, Chişinău Что Вам сказать ... На входе меня не поразило ничего , хотя мне понравился ресторан как снаружи , так и внутри. Но только я столкнулся с персоналом , начались метаморфозы : скромный по размерам зал как-то мягко и по-доброму охватил и согрел ! Стало очень тепло и уютно , а девушка , которая нам помогала ( официантка ) , подходя к нам , своей улыбкой и тактом , вежливой предупредительностью очаровала окончательно ! но это Атмосфера ... Мы пришли поужинать . Хоть я и был не голоден , но за компанию с друзьями... . Именно по этой причине моё удивление и потом - восторг , были неожиданными для меня самого. Мы с женой часто ( или по необходимости , или из-за желания поесть ) заходим в разные рестораны . и иногда это не совсем приятно .. Тем сильнее было моё приятное удивление от этого ресторана !! Посудите сами : персонал культурный , вежливый , предупредительный , интерьер мягкий , сдержанный , но очень милый и уютный , всё вокруг чисто , музыка как раз той громкости , которая помогает отдохнуть и приятно поговорить с друзьями . Но главное - это качество Еды !!!! Фреш из апельсинов почему - то был не кислый , а сладкий, из качественных спелых плодов ( не поленились , и нашли те что надо , а не какие - нибудь ) Гуакомоле мягкое , свежее , ароматное из прекрасного спелого авокадо . Салат Ensalada Mexico - большая приятная порция качественного мяса , на удивление (по сравнению с другими ) мягкого и свежеприготовленного . Но что меня поразило окончательно , так это Бараньи Рёбрышки с рисом ! Не каждая хозяйка с опытом готовки мяса смогла бы сделать лучше и вкуснее : они и нежные , и мягкие , и вкусные , конечно же СОЧНЫЕ ! Я был настолько удивлён вкусом , качеством и свежестью еды , что попросил нашу официантку поблагодарить повара от моего имени . Ни малейшего сомнения не было , что всё готовилось прямо сейчас ! Маленькое дополнение - это всё за умеренные деньги ! Друзья ! Если хотите вкусно покушать в приятной обстановке ,и не бояться , что вам испортят настроение персонал или разогретая в микроволновке несвежая еда - смело идите в El Paso ...
