Nagomi japanese restaurant — Restaurant in Ulaanbaatar

Last summer I had a lunch there twice. It was kinda challenging to find the entrance there. Since this restraurant offers Japanese items on the menu, naturally you wont see that many locals there. But still it does not mean locals cannot afford it. So I went to the restaurant with my causal clothes. When I entered the restaurant with some cool looking clothes, waiters were serving me very nicely. But other day I went there with some flip flop and big backpack and was kinda offended by the waitress attitude. The waitress seems to be young girl in her 20s and did not bother to talk to me or give me some customers attitude. When I asked for soy sauce for my sushi rolls, she did not answer for the first time until I had to ring the bell, even though she was standing right next to me. My call kinda annoyed her and she forcefully came to me and stared at me without a manner. She did not even bother to ask what could my problem would be or cared for me simply. Then I asked "can I get a soy sauce", she pointed the finger at the other side of the table, where customary soy sauce and salt bottles standing. Anyways the way she communicated with me was kinda offending. It was kinda understandable, if i was behaving not normal. but I was not. I was not asking her to be there or forcing her. Not just her, other waitresses were kinda looking down on me. I assumed it due to my clothes, which was btw not dirty or smelling or so. They were kind thinking I was not able to afford the items on the menu. They really should work on their workers attitude towards their customers. Never visited the...

At first glance, it seemed interesting. Decent sushi selection and the robot-cat waiter.

Unfortunately, the worst service I have ever received in a long, long time. Especially the male waitstaff and other customers.

Had to wait in the front for almost 5 whole minutes until a waitress approached. No host for a restaurant considering itself 'higher end'.

Other than the horrid service; the Wasabi had absolutely no taste. No taste at all. Not even a hint of it; just a green, tasteless paste.

You can really tell a restaurant by the people who oft it. Tasteless low-lives, who do not have any...

I tried all their sushi, and it tastes absolutely amazing! The quality is top-notch, and every piece was fresh and flavourful. The atmosphere of the place is really nice, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal. One thing I really appreciate is how fast the service is, orders don’t take forever, and everything arrives quickly and efficiently.
