Walter BBQ Kotor — Restaurant in Dobrota

It is situated on the 3rd floor of the shopping centre Kamelija, which is a small shopping centre near to the port of Kotor. It was a bit out of the way and that operhaps explained why it does not have a lot of foot fall. I discoved the place accidentally when I went to the shopping centre looking for tourist simcard. The interior of the restaurant was designed with a modern minimalist vibe. And the aircon was powerful, an important consideration in this hot summer weather. I had the Walter breakfast set - which has two fried egg, sausages, bread, soft cheese, and vegetable and it came with a complimentary cup of coffee. This is probably the most value for money breakfast set in this part of the world. I also tried the Tufahija -traditional dessert - stuffed apple with walnu. Food was "okay". Not bad, but not something you would keep coming back to. 3 stars because the options and choices of food were limited in my opinion. For someone with dairy intolerance, not much choices for us.

Portions of the food was average, prices were a bit expensive for the portions but maybe enough for the quality of meat they serve.

I remember still eating my soup, when the waiter took it to serve the main dish. Maybe a misunderstanding or language barrier, but I did say I was still eating it when he took it.

He also asked if i'll be having my dessert or not. I find it weird because the meal I ordered and will pay for comes with dessert, why ask me if I will be having it or not. If I opt not to have it, will my bill would have been cheaper then or will I still pay the same? Again, maybe it's just the language barrier.

Will I eat here? Yes. Will I come back?...

Wow a fantastic BBQ nice big portions at a decent price..the quality of food is really good especially the meatballs in the cream sauce..we had the bbq plate with all the different meat,wedges and bread and it is for 4 people but we still could not eat it all and we had to take the rest of it home with us for the fill day and the price was €54.40 cents which is really worth it..the staff are all super friendly as well..I noticed Walter is all over in Europe but I wish we had Walter BBQ in the UK..please Walter BBQ can you open a restaurant in the UK..i highly recommend Walter BBQ if you see one of there restaurants in Europe you won’t be disappointed…I’m sorry I did not get the chance to try one of your beautiful looking desserts but we...
