Sumosan Montenegro — Restaurant in undefined

I have been here twice - first time I guess time wasn’t the busiest and I had enough attention and nice service, it has been 1st week of their opening - although, the waiters didn’t know the menu well enough. They didn’t know about free parking for guests ( I knew about it only from my second visit from reception)

My second time was unfortunate - starting from that I had to walk from the parking myself, no one had called a buggy for me. The service was worse, no attention to me and checking in on my experience. I have visited other SUMOSAN restaurants and i highly recommend and wish the staff to improve. The restaurant is luxury dining and the standard for the service should be the same no matter on time or quantity of guests.

Also for me I want to see good English speakers, that makes communication on a different standard and comfortable.

The music is too loud - I cannot hear people sitting next to me - I don’t like shouting while I am eating.

Overall I would still recommend this place, I hope guys will work on it and it will definitely become the best place...

We spent a few days in Budva at Dukley Resort and honestly, the highlight of our stay was our waiter Aleksander at the Samosan bar. He was more than just a waiter – he was our personal assistant, always one step ahead of us. Before we could even say what we needed, he was already by our side with a big smile, asking if we would like anything else.

We also had a special inside joke together. Instead of saying “voće” we joked and said “povrće,” and he laughed with us every time. From that moment on, for three days straight, we kept calling him “Povrće,” and we couldn’t wait to see him again – and he couldn’t wait to see us.

Honestly, we could say we came back just because of him. Aleksander truly made our experience unforgettable, and Samosan wouldn’t have been the same...

Drago and the team made our dinner the most special, and factually the best dinner we enjoyed in Montenegro by a marathon. The restaurant is elegant, the staff are warm, engaging & attentive & Drago kindly came over to our table to welcome & speak with us. More importantly, the food far exceeded expectations.
