We visited Café Amistad around 11:30 p.m. and sat on one of the terraces, at a table close to the road. Luckily, there weren’t many cars passing by at that hour, so it was easy to talk — the overall atmosphere was quite pleasant. The waiter was friendly, and since the menu didn’t include descriptions or ingredients for the desserts, he kindly brought them out for us to see. I chose the caramel cake — personally, I didn’t enjoy it, as it was more like a soufflé with sponge layers, which isn’t really my taste. For those who like that texture, it might be good, but the lack of clear descriptions in the menu makes ordering a bit of a guessing game.
The tea was average — not the best quality — and although we drink a lot of tea, even two sachets of sugar weren’t enough. We asked for more, but were brought only one extra. On the bright side, the portion of tea was quite generous.
However, I was disappointed to notice that one of the forks was dirty, which you can even see in the photo. Thankfully, there were two, and we used the clean one. Still, it raises questions about the overall hygiene. The outdoor furniture also looked worn and not very clean. I understand that people probably come here more for the vibe, but the owner should really pay attention to the negative reviews — after reading some, it honestly feels concerning.
I didn’t take off too many stars for service, as the waiter himself was polite and pleasant, but cleanliness definitely needs serious improvement. No matter what time of day it is, a place should always feel clean and welcoming...
Read moreI recently visited Amistad in Casablanca, and I had a truly pleasant experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I could feel the positive and relaxing vibes of the place. The ambiance was warm, cozy, and beautifully designed, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy a peaceful break from the busy city.
What really stood out to me was the attitude of the staff. Everyone was incredibly polite, welcoming, and attentive. They made me feel comfortable right away and were happy to assist with any questions about the menu. Their friendly nature added a personal touch to the overall experience.
The café itself was clean and well-organized, with soft music playing in the background that enhanced the calm atmosphere. I also appreciated the variety on the menu — whether you’re in the mood for coffee, tea, or something light to eat, there’s something for everyone.
Overall, my visit to Amistad was delightful. It’s a place that combines good service, a great environment, and a friendly team — definitely worth visiting again. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable café experience in...
Read moreNICE TERRACE TO WATCH SOCCER We love going to Amistad, the waiters are friendly, we find it relaxing, but the food quality is not consistent. One time we had a good breakfast, the next time it was very mediocre. The fruits looked old, the menu said corn flakes and crêpes, and we got served "boules de chocolat cereals" and waffles with chocolat on top. What purpuse does it serves to list what is included in the breakfast if you don't actually sirve it to the client. This time we were very disappointed I...
