Annabel's Casablanca — Restaurant in arrondissement de Sidi Belyout مقاطعة سيدي بليوط

We heard about this place and thought of giving it a try. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a hostess who claimed that the whole restaurant is reserved and there are no tables available. I asked for the bar and she said it is busy too. Then another hostess showed up to see why we were looking at each other in a weird way. She took us upstairs, all of the sudden the place is not busy, and it is reservations only. They were two gentlemen sitting at the first floor, they were few tables taken on the second floor, and we sat on the third where they were only three tables occupied. We were number four then two more tables came for the rest of the night. We were greeted nicely and as soon as we ordered our meals we realized that the place is a joke. The food is not up the standard of they way the place looks. The server was just interested in upselling, in fact as soon as we finished our meal he was eager to get paid. I won’t go back to this place, it needs to reevaluate their vision of the restaurant business, the only good thing here is the Art Deco building, for the connaisseurs this is looks...

Nous avons essayé, entre amis, pour la première fois depuis son ouverture récente. Si il n’y a rien à redire sur le service, en revanche les plats ne sont pas à la hauteur, la finger food sont très simples, en entrée rien à dire du ceviche qui était bon. Pour les plats c’était autre chose. Le carré d’agneau se résume à quatre petits bouts de viandes grands comme des carrés de sucre, le tournedos Rossini n’en est pas un… ce n’était pas du bœuf mais du veau, pas de sauce Rossini, un bout de foie gras posé sur la viande et à côté un fond de bœuf en poudre.

Ce qui a été le plus désobligeant c’est le chef qui vient demander si tout se passe bien, et lorsque nous lui formulons de façon polie nos remarques, il nous indique que « c’est comme cela qu’il fait ici » et explique que son quart est terminé et qu’il part… avec le mépris le plus insupportable.

Le manager de salle s’est montré poli et compréhensif. Et je l’en remercie.

Je n’ai pas mangé, nous sommes rapidement partis et ne reviendrons plus.

Que les propriétaires des lieux, qui ont investis de l’argent prennent le temps de surveiller leur personnel, ce qu’il est servi aux clients et prenne en considération que les restaurants ne manquent paz à Casablanca, un client insatisfait ne revient plus et en parle autour de lui.

Votre chef s'est déjà distingué à Marrakech et Casablanca et sorti de nombreux établissements… dommage le lieu pourrait...
