I had the pleasure of spending a few days at Kaan Hotel in Casablanca, and I must say it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a very friendly staff, and this pleasant and outstanding approach accompanied us throughout our entire stay at the hotel.
Kaan Hotel is located in a great spot that allowed us to easily explore the beauties of Casablanca. Its proximity to major attractions, such as the Hassan II Mosque and the old town, was a huge advantage.
The room we received was modern and stylishly decorated, complete with air conditioning. It included a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, a mini-fridge, a coffee maker, and an electric kettle. I must particularly mention the housekeeping by Josephine, who ensured that we lacked nothing in our room. The hotel is also an excellent choice for long-term stays, as it offers smaller apartments with kitchens and a publicly accessible laundry room equipped with both a washer and a dryer.
You will also find a small, well-equipped fitness center. You can enjoy a buffet breakfast, and the food offerings in the restaurant were fantastic. All dishes were prepared with an emphasis on quality and fresh ingredients. I cannot forget to mention the rooftop bar with a stunning view of the city, as well as the terrace filled with plants, which serves as a wonderful relaxation zone.
It is very nice that the hotel has implemented certain practices to help mitigate its environmental impact.
Overall, I highly recommend Kaan Hotel to anyone planning a visit to Casablanca. The combination of excellent service, a great location, and comfortable accommodations makes it an ideal place for relaxation and exploration of this fascinating city. I would certainly...
Read moreSo the hotel itself looks nice and pretty new and very well located. The knowledgeability of the staff is not very good. If you ask them questions about things to do in the area, at least the people that I talked to, they didn’t really have a clue and seem bothered by the questions. But that’s not the reason for this review. The air-conditioning in my room didn’t work so I had to leave the window open and I got attacked by mosquitoes while I slept. The tile that they use in the shower is the same glossy tile that you would normally use on the wall and as soon as it gets wet or soapy it’s extremely hazardous like you’re standing on ice. The lights didn’t work in the entryway where the bags go so you have to use a flashlight to see what you were getting out of your suitcase and in the middle of the night pieces of lighting fixture actually fell onto the floor waking me up thinking someone was in my room as well as the power going off one night when I went up to use the restroom the lights were completely off and I had to fumble for my phone flashlight to try and get there safely in the pitch black. When I tried to close the blinds the whole railing where the curtains attached to the ceiling pulled halfway out and hung there from the ceiling. I informed the young lady at the front of the issues and she just said sorry and proceeded to check me out. When I told her about the tile in the shower she kind of nodded like she’d heard this quite a few times before. It’s one thing if you have some issues with the hotel room but customer service is there to help provide you a solution or at least offer you something for your trouble. The hotel looks nice but it feels like it was thrown together quickly without proper...
Read moreI would like to say that I would give your hotel and 10/10, but I can not. I arrived at your hotel on April 20, 2025 I was embarking on a tour with GAdventure/National Geographic starting on April 24, 2025. I arrived earlier to explore your city. I was not hesitant to stay here as this was the starting point of the tour. After the second night, there were occupants in the adjoining rooms, on the Wednesday night myself and the adjoining rooms occupants were playing “light switch tag” it seems the lights are connected. The next morning I went downstairs to the front desk to lodge a complaint, seems your hotel front desk knew of this issue! I was given the assurance that the lady at the front desk would speak to the manger, after returning from supper with the GAdventure CEO, I was assured that either adjoining rooms were not being rented out. At @11:30, your front desk lied. Myself and the adjoining occupant playing light switch tag for @10 minutes. For both nights, I was awaken by lights coming on independently and not turning off, I would turn them off, but they would come back on by the adjoining rooms. Not a...
