This eclectic and charming private collection stole our hearts. We appreciated being thoughtfully welcomed in English by the impressively multi-lingual staff, and being offered a collection guide printed in English, as the permanent exhibition signage is in French and Arabic. The size of the permanent collection on the first and second floors, combined with a temporary exhibition on the third allows you to thoroughly experience everything without becoming fatigued as is often the case in larger museums. It showcases antique jewellery & antique posters, but my favourite section was the 19th century bohemian crystal boxes. However, if you are tired of sitting at a coffee shop for 3 hours with the same coffee, this place is incredibly nice. There are many antiques of foreign origin as well as some Berber pieces. There is also a collections of ads for Morocco through a foreign lense. When I went there was also an exhibition of a modern day Odalesque more representative of current culture.
