La V-randa du prince — Restaurant in arrondissement de Sidi Belyout مقاطعة سيدي بليوط

I liked this place. I'd go back. The pizza and the pesto dish we ordered were good. The juice took a long time to arrive but we left that go - it was good, fresh juice. The location is good, central and easy walk to the Corniche and ample taxis nearby at the old medina. The service at this La V-randa leaves a lot to be desired but don't go to North Africa expecting good service - anywhere, ever, at all. We sat down and after 15 minutes I had to get up and walk to into the kitchen to ask for a menu, then after several attempts we waived someone down to take our orders; the place is not that big but don't expect to be well-attended to. We got our food in a reasonable time and I left a 15% tip. The waiter stoppped me as I was leaving to say I had paid too much. When I told him that a pour boire for him he was susprised and thanks me. I don't think that will improve service but I liked it well enough and I'd recommend at least giving this place a try if you're in that...

This was the happiest surprise for my last night in Casablanca!

I was walking around the city and literally stumbled upon it. I was skeptical at first as I didn't check the ratings at first, but then Malick welcomed me and was a very nice host and assured me that I'd love the tajin.

And the tajin did not disappoint!! It was absolutely delicious, also the nice touch of brining pizza bread with it is pure genius. I also had one of the juice cocktails "Friska" and it was also great. Both were incredible value for money

The atmosphere was amazing as well, beautiful place, nice music, open kitchen so you can see the staff cooking as well and how clean everything is.

All of this is topped with amazing services from everyone, including the manager Mehdi who greeted me and offered me a complimentary small dessert

Great little covered courtyard for a quiet and relaxing meal. Service is awesome, being attentive, courteous and professional. All excellent, but the food is just exceptional. I had the chicken tajine with an exotic fruit smoothie and it was just so delicious. Highly recommend stopping in, you won't be disappointed with...
