Chef Alsham is a fantastic spot for authentic Syrian food, and I can't recommend it enough! From start to finish, everything we had was delicious and perfectly prepared. We began with mixed cold and warm appetizers, each dish packed with flavor and showcasing the best of Syrian cuisine. The tabbouleh salad was fresh, tangy, and balanced perfectly with the rich flavors of the appetizers.

For the mains, the shawarma was tender and seasoned beautifully, the garlic sauce(thum) was perfect and the shish tawook was grilled to perfection—juicy, smoky, and full of flavor. We got ayran and mujito as drinks wish where also very nice. To finish the meal, we enjoyed a delightful kunafe, which was warm, sweet, very cheese and crispy in all the right ways, paired with tea to round off the experience.

One of the staff members, (I will refrain from saying who) was extremely unprofessional by asking my brother personal questions (asking where he is from and then start start political conversation) while waiting for our takeaway and laughing with the other staff in-front of my brother after he answered his questions. My brother felt extremely uncomfortable and awkward. Keep in mind he’s only 13!!
