Same quality as any other Moroccan food, which is to say underwhelming, both in quality of ingredients, presentation, and overall execution, but also overpriced because it's owned by a Spaniard. Dry meat in the pastry, soft but dry meat in the tajine. For the pastela, there was far too much sugar, and sweet almond paste inside, so it's much more like a sweet pastry than what I'm familiar with. The almond and hazelnut milk was not blended enough, and barely came through the straw. Time to invest in a Vitamix. The eggplant salad was good. They also charged 10% gratuity in a country that doesn't charge gratuity. Why? Is your overpriced food not enough to pay your employees well in a country who's minimum wage is 10€ a day? 1.9€ tip on a 19€ meal? That's more than I would tip in Spain. I guess I didn't see...

The place is too small and too cramped
We made reservations for two people and a child, and we were given the smallest table next to the toilet.
We ordered the chicken pastilla for two, but the portion was too small (usually what we were served is pastilla for one in many other places for half the price).

Read moreThis little restaurant is located just outside the old Medina in a pedestrian nice little street. There are few table both inside and outside. The waiter was welcoming and quick sitting us at our table. Menu is not so wide (which is a good thing since it is fresh and local). Portions are normal sized and very tasty, we loved them! Also very digestible, as we tourists some times have to be careful with condiments and sauces. Vegetarian options also very good. We had a very pleasant meal and we highly recommend this...
