La Côte — Restaurant in Asilah

la Côte is located on the promenade, which is still being refurbished. It has an upmarket modern styled interior an good seating, with a nice covered terras. the waiters are experienced and our guy provided a good service that merits its 4 stars. the kitchen is another matter. the menu is overloaded and the folder and pages need renewing and that at the beginning of the summer season... we ordered a prawn and avocado with cocktail sauce salad... it came nicely decorated a portion for 2 people, so we shared. however we expected a salad not a hot starter. the cold prawns were on the main dish, it didn't taste bad but because it was served warm with cold avocado on cold green lettuce it's not appetising , the.cocktail sauce isn't nice when warm ... we also ordered a fried fish, the calamars were fried without batter making them brown and very chewy, the baby soles were good with a nice batter and the scampi were good too as you eat it with your hands we got the hot water finger bowl, another +.for the service. the dish should have more kinds of fish , the freshness seemd acceptable, but the failed calamari were not a goid idea, the dish was based on a mount of white rice topped with cold shrimps, the cold shrimps should have.been in the salad.and the rice felt like reheated leftover of yesterdays boiled rice it didn't taste right. overall very disappointing , if you want to be better than the other snacjs further down next to the kashbah and if a restaurant wants to attract the BMW and Mercedes crowd of MREs that visit Assilah you need to be on par with your menu, and with the dishes on your menu and in the kitchen department, you need a chef not some guy picked from the street to rummage about behind the stove. again very...

I don’t usually write bad reviews, but my experience here was unacceptable. I asked kindly if they could fix my plate because it was drowning in sauce. The waiter was very professional and understanding, but then one of the kitchen staff started shouting aggressively about my request. That kind of behavior towards a customer is completely disrespectful and unprofessional.

I ended up canceling my order, and honestly, if I wasn’t with my family, things could have escalated further — لولا لطف الله. The waiter tried their best, but no client should ever be treated this way.

To make things worse, they didn’t even bring me a proper receipt, just calculated on a phone, and the change was not correct. This ruined the whole experience, and management seriously needs to...

I would give this place zero star if I could , really bad service waiters seem not knowing what they are supposed to be doing . We sat at a dirty table our waiter was chatting with a girl at another table not paying attention to us handed us the menu without cleaning the table I had to ask him if he could clean it . Then we were told that we have to order food for him to serve us . We just wanted to have a juice and a cup of coffee and he said we can’t be served . It had to be food se we got up and left . Nobody cared and nobody asked us why we left which is the manager job . It’s a shame that they spent so much money on this place but the service is horrible and not worth it at all . I will not recommend this place and I will never go back...
