Edit: I got food poisoning after. It was the only thing I ate that day except for some packaged cookies, so it's pretty clear that it was from this food. This was the only time I got food poisoning in Morocco after more than 2 weeks. The toast was also quite stale. 🤢
Staff was rude and they served me food that was rancid or had gone bad. Also something that was different than what described - perhaps it was a translation issue. They should've taken the rotten food off the bill as I wasn't able to eat any of it without risking getting sick. It was also the most expensive restaurant I went to in Morocco though prices are reasonable for Western standards. They also had multiple types of bugs without any clear way to try to keep them away. This was a waste of time and money. Perhaps they need to limit the menu. The actual waiter was polite. With all the wonderful places in Morocco, it makes no sense to go here. We ordered the 3 course set menu which included a good range of starters, mains and desserts. The cuisine is mainly french along with some Pan Asian dishes. Read moreThe food was great, we started our dinner with a fresh tuna salad as well as a spinach and goat cheese raviolis, the salad was the best one I’ve ever had, the combination of sesame oil and fresh ginger made the taste unbeatable, for the main course, we had a delicious meat lasagna and a beaf steak with caramelized onions and fresh mushrooms sauce, lastly, we finished our incredible dinner with a freshly baked pear and almond pie topped off with a delicious vanilla ice-cream ball, the dinner was marvelous and the servants were nothing less than excellent, specially the girl who served us.
