This little hotel has the most stunning views of the kasbah in Ait Ben Haddou. I did a lot of research and enquiries into finding the most comfortable hotel with amazing views of the kasbah and I most definitely was not disappointed. |Other than the views, the service you receive really is exceptional, Houssine the hotel manager most definitely attended to every request we had. He really did provide so much knowledge on the kasbah, and how movie sets are created at the kasbah, he was even kind enough to show us all the pictures he had from when game of thrones, gladiator etc were made. We learnt a lot from Houssine. |The room was comfortable and clean, the only downfall was the air con was a bit loud and I’m a light sleeper so that was the only con. |This little hotel is made from clay and straw so you really do get the traditional feeling of living in a Moroccan home. |The breakfast and dinner were both delicious, I’m a very picky eater and was worried but I definitely enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. |Also to note there is plenty of safe parking. And this hotel does not...
Read moreI stayed here for two nights in late April. The hotel is cosy and welcoming, and my room and bed were very comfortable. I enjoyed the authentic construction with local materials, and local carpets. Superb!||The sink and shower area felt a bit cramped, and the hot water system could be improved - water was either very hot or cold and it was difficult to get the right mix. But these issues felt minor, given the overall friendly ambience and comfort of the hotel. I was in room 4, downstairs looking onto the pool area. If I'm lucky enough to return, I'd try and get an upstairs room looking over the terrace and across...
Read moreI was warmly welcomed here after a 4hr drive from Imlil and was soon allocated Room 17 which was very much to my liking. ||It was a studio type of room with a small lounge area and a separate en-suite bathroom. ||Outside was a small balcony with table and two comfortable chairs and this overlooked the main terrace. The views over to the Ksar Ait Ben Haddou were stunning.||I dined in on my first night and it was a good meal but alcohol isn’t available here. Tonics were readily available for my gin however.||Breakfasts were typical Moroccan food with either an omelette or boiled egg and usual bread and jams etc. ||The staff were all friendly and helpful and the Duty Manager arranged for a private taxi to take me back to Marrakech.||I’d rate this hotel...
