My visit to Restaurant Maktoub in Aït Benhaddou was nothing short of magical! Nestled near the iconic kasbah, this charming café-restaurant offers not just delicious food but an authentic Moroccan experience.

The vegetable tagine was bursting with rich, aromatic spices, and the lamb couscous melted in my mouth—some of the best I’ve had in Morocco! The freshly baked bread and homemade harira soup were also delightful. And of course, the sweet mint tea, served with genuine warmth, was the perfect finish.

What truly stood out was the hospitality. The staff treated us like family, sharing stories and ensuring every need was met. The rooftop seating offers stunning views of the ancient ksar, especially at sunset—an absolute must for photos!
