We had a lovely time here. The hotel is in the style of a road with a central light well, but a closed roof. It is beautifully decorated inside with a mix of Moroccan items and large scale photos. The central lighting fixture is gorgeous. There is a spacious rooftop terrace.
The rooms are comfortable and well equipped including air conditioning. Be sure to wait for the hot water in the shower.
We enjoyed a very tasty dinner that may have cost slightly more than some local restaurants but was prepared fresh by the family, was beautifully presented, and served with the freshest bread. Likewise, breakfast was presented elegantly and was fresh. (Slightly hotter coffee could have improved it a little).
The location is very good just off the main street. It offers a calm retreat from a town that can be chaotic in the daytime. Just note that it doesn't have views of the historic town but few places do.
A first-rate experience at an...

The number of cockroaches was beyond acceptable. I realize how it sounds, but considering the location and expected standards, it might have been tolerable if one appeared and was removed. However, this was more like an infestation. We were offered another room (which was really kind), but when I entered, there was a dead cockroach right in front of me and two very large ones next to me. I did not check the rest of the room any further. Considering everything, I cannot recommend staying here unless serious sanitation measures are taken first. We ourselves left before midnight to find new accommodation, which was not fun at all. I am sorry that our request for a refund was denied. At least Booking.com was very kind and returned more than half of the...
