Definitely the worst restaurant we've experienced in Morocco in a month of travel. 2 stars for the appetizers and service at the beginning which were fine, but then everything went downhill. Waiter kept coming, each time saying 5 more minutes, but in the meantime didn't bother to clear away the dirty appetizer plates. When (some) of the main course finally arrived it was inedible. The grilled sardines were drowned in salt - impossible to eat even if you try scraping the salt off. The chicken skewers were utterly tasteless - no seasoning at all. And many of the things we'd asked for (extra plates and napkins) never came. We called the waiter, told him we're cancelling the rest of the order (several dishes still hadn't arrived), paid for the food we ate and left. Very...

The fish was so greasy it was practically inedible. The potato cutlets were cold and flavorless, and the portion of fries—just 10 to 12 small pieces—was not only cold but completely soaked in oil. I managed to eat a little of the fish, but sadly, it caused severe diarrhea within 20 minutes. I honestly can't understand the positive reviews for this place. Avoid it at all costs.

Read moreTraditional underrated place to eat. The ladies from here are very nice and you can order either in French or English. We took the Marocan traditional soup harira which was absolutely delicious, some tajine and cous cous which were good. We could not finish everything. They brought some bread on the house for the soups. The tajine was a bit oily for my taste, but still ok. The praces for the food on this street are way cheaper than on some other main streets in Essaouira, Morocco. I recomand to eat in the area, with good traditional food and low prices. They have only a few tables outside, but you can go to the neighbour restaurants, because...
