This place is a favorite of me and my husband... Small eatery behind the bus station in Essaouira... They often have beans in sauce, chicken in sauce which I highly recommend eating with the bread to scoop it up(the Moroccan way).. they have awsum mint tea or soda if you prefer. It's a typical Moroccan food stall so don't be afraid to sit and eat as they are very clean there! As an American my initial thoughts when eating at food stalls was nope not for me, but after 12 years in Morocco I have discovered that fine dining and delicious food are not the same thing! Really tasty authentic food and really cheap! it takes a while to get the food but it’s because Loubna is literally making everything from scratch (ie she doesn’t “prep” anything so it’s super fresh). Yes this is it! This restaurant is situated in medina, but it is offers most authentic regional kitchen and the price is so fair, which is rare in this area tbh. We were very suspicious about the overposivive reviews since we had bad experiences in the last days. But it deserves every compliment and more.
