From the moment I stepped into this charming restaurant, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with an elegant and cozy interior that immediately put me at ease.
But the real star of the show at Restaurant la Tolérance is undoubtedly the food. I opted for the fresh fish, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The flavors were rich and complex, with a perfect balance of seasoning and spices that complemented the natural taste of the fish perfectly.
In addition to the exceptional quality of the food, I was also impressed by the prices at Restaurant la Tolérance. Despite the high quality of the ingredients and the skillful preparation, the prices were very reasonable and represented great value for money.
Overall, I highly recommend Restaurant la Tolérance to anyone looking for an unforgettable seafood dining experience in Essaouira. From the delicious food to the warm and welcoming atmosphere, everything about this restaurant is truly top-notch. Therefore, I would gladly give Restaurant la Tolérance a...
Read moreWe stopped in mid-day just for a tea. They were so gracious and as we had our wonderful Moroccan mint tea (and cookies compliments of the cafe), we watched the place completely fill up for lunch and started watching the food coming from the kitchen. OMG!
Amazing variety of beautiful food. We decided this is where we would have our dinner. We are glad we did!
Easy to eat completely vegetarian with a good variety of menu options.
We enjoyed a Moroccan salad, each a bowl of Moroccan Harira soup, a veggie tangine and veggie couscous. We were served olives and bread at no charge. Very large servings of delicious food!
We sat inside for tea today and outside for dinner. Both a great experience!!
They are so nice there too. The man that seated us even gave us tea after dinner and said he felt bad he didn’t get to spend more time with us earlier in the day when we were there for tea. Such a nice gesture.
Our entire meal plus a large bottle of sparkling water was 140 MAD! Yes $14.63 USD. SIMPLY AWESOME!!
We will be back as we are here for a week. You all need to go there NOW!...

Then budget daily special was fantastic and the chicken tangine had a large moist chicken breast.
The Moroccan soup ( Harira ) is a must! It was full of flavour with barley, lentils, and all spices Moroccan, and would be filling enough for a light lunch.
I also tried the Gambas Royal which were large fresh shrimp that were bursting with flavour and a side of local veggies sautéd in garlic and herbs. Highly recommended!
The owner and staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our meal. They are definitely some of the nicest people...
